We were able to visit Zion's while in Southern Utah as well. What an amazing world we live in. It is absolutely beautiful down there. Way too hot, compared to the very mild spring weather we have been having. We had a great time. It is not the best spot to take young kids, only for the fact that there are some amazing trails to go on and they are a bit much for youngsters. Mel & Luke were not able to make it down to Zion's with us, because Luke got a bug and was not feeling well. The squirrels would just come right out and see you, the kids thought that was great. I took so many pictures, that I can't share them all. Here is a few...
The girls loved driving through the tunnels and honking the horn while going through them. Ryan about got in a fight with a drunk guy when we were waiting to get on the bus. The guy was cussing pretty loudly and making quite a scene. Then he tried to push his way past Ryan to get on the bus where part of his group was at. Ryan told him to keep his voice down and stop cussing because there were a lot of kids around and to wait his turn. The guy was a pretty small guy, he only hit Ryan at about his chest, but the booze made him think he could kick anyone's @$$. Poor Laci was in tears, freaking out and did not want her dad in a fight, the guy really did not stand a chance anyway. The guy had a big walking stick and if he was going to do anything to Ryan, that was his only chance. Ryan grabbed the stick so there would not be a chance of that. We got on the very crowded bus, which thankfully the jerks, friends and family took him away and did not get on the bus. Laci sobbed the rest of the bus ride. But, even after all that, we still enjoyed our trip to Zion's. Here are are some more great photos of our fun filled trip.
